Ayaz Ahmed is a former Pakistani cricketer who played as a wicket-keeper and right-handed batsman. Born on November 14, 1966 in Karachi, Pakistan, he made his international debut in 1988 against the West Indies. Ayaz played 13 Test matches and 7 One Day Internationals for Pakistan between 1988 and 1993. Known for his solid wicket-keeping skills and batting technique, Ayaz scored a total of 455 runs in Test matches with an average of 28.43. After retiring from international cricket, he went on to play domestic cricket in Pakistan. Ayaz is remembered for his contributions to Pakistan cricket during the early 90s.
