Chandra Thomas Adolphus Schaffter is a former Sri Lankan cricketer who had a brief international career in the 1960s. Born on October 26, 1938, in Colombo, Schaffter was a right-handed batsman who also bowled right-arm offbreak. He made his debut for Sri Lanka in 1965 against England where he put up a memorable performance with both bat and ball. In his short international career, Schaffter played 4 Test matches and scored a total of 179 runs at an average of 35.80. He also took 5 wickets with the ball. After retirement, he remained involved in cricket administration in Sri Lanka.
