Charles Christopher Griffith, commonly known as Charlie Griffith, was a prominent West Indian fast bowler during the 1960s. Born on December 14, 1938 in Barbados, Griffith made his debut for the West Indies cricket team in 1960. Known for his fiery pace and ability to swing the ball both ways, he was a key member of the famous fearsome fast bowling quartet alongside Wes Hall, Garfield Sobers, and Lance Gibbs. Griffith played 28 Test matches, taking 94 wickets at an impressive average of 28.54. His bowling was instrumental in several memorable victories for the West Indies during his career.
