Francis James Cameron, commonly known as Frank Cameron, was a prominent New Zealand cricketer known for his skillful bowling and tenacious approach to the sport. Born on September 5, 1931, in Christchurch, New Zealand, Cameron’s contribution to New Zealand cricket earned him both praise and recognition.

Cameron developed into a wily fast-medium bowler, renowned for his ability to swing the ball remarkably in both directions. His unique skill set made him a vital asset to the New Zealand cricket team, particularly during their successful campaign against South Africa in 1961-62. Cameron’s unwavering determination and discipline as a stock bowler proved pivotal in New Zealand’s triumphs during that period.
