Imtiaz Ahmed was a talented wicketkeeper-batsman from India who represented his country in Test cricket during the 1950s and 1960s. Known for his excellent glovework behind the stumps and his ability to score quick runs lower down the order, Imtiaz was a valuable asset to the Indian team. He made his Test debut against Pakistan in 1952 and went on to play 41 matches, scoring over 1400 runs and effecting 77 dismissals. Imtiaz was a key member of the Indian team during his playing days and will always be remembered as a skilled and committed cricketer.
