Jason Nazimuddin Mohammed, hailing from the West Indies, has emerged as a reliable middle-order batsman for his team. The following season proved to be another successful one for Mohammed, as he continued to shine in both first-class and 50-over formats. His consistent performances caught the attention of the selectors, who recognized him as a dependable player in times of crisis.
In 2018, when several senior players withdrew from the West Indies squad for the Pakistan tour, Mohammed was handed the captaincy. This responsibility showcased his leadership qualities and willingness to step up when his team needed him the most. He once again led the team in early 2021 during a tour of Bangladesh, demonstrating the trust placed in his abilities.
