Javed Anwar is a former Indian cricketer who played as a right-arm medium-fast bowler. Born on December 21, 1972, in Mumbai, India, Javed made his first-class debut in 1990 and went on to represent India in international matches. He played two Test matches and five One Day Internationals for India between 1993 and 1997. Javed was known for his ability to swing the ball both ways and was a key part of the Indian bowling attack during his career. After retiring from international cricket, Javed remained involved in the sport as a coach and mentor.
