Joseph Stanislaus Solomon, known as Joe Solomon, was a talented cricketer from the West Indies during the 1950s and 60s. He was a stylish right-handed batsman and a reliable off-spinner who played 27 Test matches for the West Indies between 1958 and 1965. Solomon scored 1324 runs at an average of 34.63, including two centuries and seven fifties. His off-spin bowling also proved to be handy, picking up 34 wickets at an average of 35.44. Solomon was a key contributor to the West Indies team during his career and his all-round abilities made him a valuable asset on the field.
