John Wood is a former English cricketer who played as a right-arm medium pace bowler. He made his first-class debut for Worcestershire in 1995 and went on to represent Nottinghamshire before retiring in 2010. Known for his accuracy and ability to swing the ball, Wood was a key player in domestic cricket. He played a total of 102 first-class matches, taking 222 wickets at an average of 30.18. His best performance came in a match against Leicestershire in 2007, where he took a career-best 8 wickets for 77 runs.
