Majid Khan bio

Majid Khan is a former Pakistani cricketer who was known for his elegant strokeplay and aggressive batting style. He made his Test debut in 1964 and went on to represent Pakistan in 63 Test matches, scoring over 3,500 runs at an impressive average of 38.92. Majid Khan was also a useful medium pace bowler, taking 24 wickets in his Test career. He played a key role in Pakistan’s famous Test victory over England at The Oval in 1971, where he scored a quickfire century. After retiring from cricket, he went on to pursue a successful career in academia and business.
