Mansoor Rana is a former Pakistani cricketer who had a successful career as a right-handed batsman and leg-break bowler. Born on September 12, 1966, in Lahore, Pakistan, Rana made his international debut in 1988 and went on to represent Pakistan in 9 Test matches and 5 One Day Internationals. Known for his elegant strokeplay and useful bowling, Rana was a key member of the Pakistani team during the late 1980s. He scored 278 runs in Test cricket with a best score of 70, and took 9 wickets with a best bowling figure of 3/30. Today, Mansoor Rana is remembered as a talented all-rounder who contributed to the success of the Pakistan cricket team.
