Minhajul Abedin, born on September 25, 1967, is a former Bangladeshi cricketer who played as a right-handed batsman. He made his debut for the Bangladesh national team in 1988 and was considered one of the most talented players of his time. Abedin was known for his elegant strokeplay and solid technique, making him a valuable asset to the team. Throughout his career, he scored over 1,000 runs in both first-class and List A cricket. After retiring from playing, Minhajul Abedin transitioned into coaching and served as a chief selector for the Bangladesh national team.
