Murray John Bennett is a former Australian cricketer who was a right-arm fast-medium bowler. He was born on February 4, 1941, in Adelaide, Australia. Bennett made his first-class debut for South Australia in 1961 and went on to represent Australia in 3 Test matches and 10 One Day Internationals between 1967 and 1971. Known for his accurate line and length, Bennett was a key member of the Australian team during his playing career. He finished his international career with 28 wickets across all formats. After retiring from competitive cricket, Bennett stayed involved in the game as a coach and mentor.
