Nelson Betancourt is a former cricketer from the West Indies who played as a right-handed batsman and a right-arm medium pace bowler. He made his international debut in 1993 and went on to represent the West Indies in 5 Test matches and 14 One Day Internationals. Betancourt was known for his aggressive batting style and ability to swing the ball effectively. He was a key player for the West Indies during his career, scoring over 500 runs and taking several important wickets. After retiring from international cricket, he has been involved in coaching and mentoring young cricketers.
