Rameez Raja is a former Pakistani cricketer who was born on August 14, 1962 in Lahore, Pakistan. He was a right-handed opening batsman and occasional off-spin bowler who played for the Pakistani national team from 1985 to 1997. Raja was known for his elegant stroke play and solid technique at the crease. He scored over 8,000 runs in international cricket, including 11 centuries and 45 fifties. Raja was also a successful captain, leading Pakistan to several memorable victories. After retiring from cricket, he became a commentator and is a well-respected figure in the cricketing world.
