Rashid Latif is a former Pakistani cricketer known for his exceptional wicket-keeping skills and leadership abilities. Born on October 14, 1968, in Karachi, he made his international debut in 1992 and quickly established himself as one of the best wicket-keepers in the world. In a career spanning over a decade, Latif played 37 Test matches and 166 One Day Internationals. He scored over 1,000 runs in ODIs and claimed 229 dismissals behind the stumps. Additionally, he captained the Pakistan team and was respected for his astute cricketing brain. Latif’s passion for the game and commitment to excellence made him a fan favorite.
