Richard Bruce Reid is a former New Zealand cricketer who played as a right-arm medium-fast bowler. Born on April 20, 1972, Reid made his Test debut for New Zealand in November 1990 against Pakistan. Known for his aggression and swing bowling, he went on to play 19 Test matches and 25 One Day Internationals for his country. Reid took a total of 60 wickets in Test cricket at an average of 32.30 and 31 wickets in ODIs at an average of 32.74. He retired from international cricket in 2002 and now works as a cricket coach.
