Mohammad Saeed Anwar is a former Pakistani cricketer who was known for his elegant left-handed batting style. Born on September 6, 1968, in Karachi, Pakistan, Anwar made his international debut in 1989 and went on to have a successful career representing Pakistan. He was particularly known for his performances in One Day Internationals, where he scored 20 centuries and had a highest individual score of 194 runs. Anwar was a key player in Pakistan’s 1992 World Cup-winning team. He retired from international cricket in 2003. Anwar is considered one of Pakistan’s greatest opening batsmen of all time.
