Shahid Anwar is a former Pakistan cricketer known for his elegant left-handed batting. Born on November 5, 1968, in Karachi, Anwar represented Pakistan in both Test and One Day International matches during the 1990s. He was a stylish opening batsman who had a knack for playing crucial innings under pressure. Anwar made his Test debut in 1994 against New Zealand and went on to represent Pakistan in 11 Test matches, scoring 405 runs.
