Shahid Anwar is a former Pakistan cricketer known for his elegant left-handed batting. Born on November 5, 1968, in Karachi, Anwar represented Pakistan in both Test and One Day International matches during the 1990s. He was a stylish opening batsman who had a knack for playing crucial innings under pressure. Anwar made his Test debut in 1994 against New Zealand and went on to represent Pakistan in 11 Test matches, scoring 405 runs. In ODIs, he played 13 matches and scored 663 runs at an impressive average of 55.25. Anwar’s contributions to Pakistani cricket will always be remembered.
