Syed Wajahatullah Wasti is a former Pakistani cricketer who played as a right-handed batsman. Born on November 11, 1973, in Karachi, Pakistan, Wasti made his debut for the national team in 1998. He was known for his elegant stroke play and solid technique, scoring over 1,300 runs in 25 Test matches and more than 1,200 runs in 57 One Day Internationals. Wasti was a reliable top-order batsman and played a key role in several memorable innings for Pakistan. After retiring from international cricket, he went on to coach and work as a cricket commentator.
