William Andrew Thomas Beer, known as Will Beer, is an English cricketer who has made a name for himself as one of the premier domestic white-ball spinners in the country. Born on February 9, 1988, in England, Beer has had a decade of success playing for Sussex in T20 cricket.
Beer began his cricketing journey in Sussex’s age-group programme and quickly caught the attention of selectors. In 2008, he impressed while playing for England Under-19s against New Zealand. In his first innings as an opener, Beer exhibited his resilience and determination by playing a dogged innings of 97 runs off 336 balls against Gloucestershire at Arundel.
