Zafar Gohar Khan is a talented cricket player from Pakistan who has made a name for himself in both domestic and international cricket.
Born and raised in Lahore, Zafar's cricketing journey started at a young age when he began playing club cricket in the north side of the city.
His skills and passion for the game quickly caught the attention of selectors, and he was recruited into the prestigious Shafqat Rana Cricket Academy.

Zafar's early success in the Under-15 circuit paved the way for his inclusion in the Pakistan U-15 squad for the 2008 World Championship held in the West Indies.
During the tournament, he showcased his skills as a left-arm spinner and emerged as one of the standout performers, claiming 10 wickets at an impressive average of 17.10.
This early success laid a solid foundation for his future in cricket.

The following years saw Zafar's continued progress, as he represented Pakistan in two consecutive Under-19 World Cups in 2012 and made significant contributions with both bat and ball.
However, it was during a Youth tour to England in 2013 that Zafar truly made his mark.
He finished as the highest wicket-taker in a tri-series involving Bangladesh, with an outstanding tally of 18 wickets at an average of 11.44.
This performance earned him widespread recognition and propelled him further into the spotlight.

Zafar's domestic career also flourished as he transitioned from the Under-15 and Under-19 levels to earning a contract with Zarat Taraqiati Bank Limited (ZTBL), one of the top departmental teams in Pakistan.
He quickly established himself as a key player for ZTBL, captaining the U-19 team and later making his mark in the senior team alongside renowned players such as Saeed Ajmal, Abdul Razzaq, and Yasir Hameed.

In 2015, Zafar joined State Bank of Pakistan before eventually being picked up by Sui Southern Gas Corporation for the entire season.
This provided him with numerous opportunities to showcase his skills in domestic cricket and further cement his place as a promising talent in Pakistan cricket.

While Zafar's journey has been filled with achievements and recognition, his path to Test cricket was marred by an unfortunate incident.
It was reported that he missed the chance to make his Test debut due to oversleeping and missing his flight to replace an injured player in the Pakistan squad facing England in the UAE in 2015.
Nonetheless, he remained determined and made his One Day International (ODI) debut a month later, proving that setbacks would not derail his career aspirations.

Zafar Gohar Khan's cricketing prowess, especially as a left-arm spinner, has garnered attention not only in Pakistan but also internationally.
With his natural talent, dedication, and continuous evolution as a player, he is poised for a successful future in the world of cricket.
As he continues to represent Pakistan in both domestic and international cricket, fans eagerly anticipate more sensational performances from this talented cricketer.
