Deepak Jagbir Hooda, commonly known as Deepak Hooda, is a talented cricket player hailing from India.
Born on April 19, 1995, in Rohtak, Haryana, Hooda has established himself as a highly versatile allrounder in the world of cricket.
With his exceptional batting skills, offbreak bowling, and impressive fielding abilities, Hooda has become an asset to any team, particularly in the T20 format.

Hooda rose to prominence during his debut season in the Indian Premier League (IPL) in 2015.
His explosive and powerful batting performances earned him the nickname "Hurricane Hooda", capturing the attention of fans and cricket experts alike.
These eye-catching displays led to his selection by the Sunrisers Hyderabad team, who acquired him for an impressive Rs 4.2 crore (US$ 622,000 approx) at the subsequent IPL auction.

While Hooda's skills are undoubtedly suited for T20 cricket, he has also proven his mettle in longer formats of the game.
In the 2016-17 Ranji season, Hooda was appointed as the captain of the Baroda team.
He displayed his prowess as a batsman by notching up three consecutive centuries, including an extraordinary unbeaten 293 against Punjab.
However, he struggled to convert his promising starts into substantial scores during the remainder of the season.

In 2021, Hooda faced a setback when Baroda suspended him for indiscipline.
He left the T20 squad after accusing captain Krunal Pandya of bullying and using derogatory language.
Following this incident, Hooda made a move to Rajasthan for the next season.
However, an unexpected turn of events occurred before the commencement of the 2022 IPL, as Hooda managed to mend the rift with Pandya and found himself playing for the Lucknow Super Giants under Pandya's captaincy.
This turned out to be a breakthrough season for Hooda, further cementing his place as a talented cricketer.

Shortly after his impressive IPL campaign, Hooda achieved another significant milestone in his career.
In only his third T20 International (T20I) innings, he scored his maiden century against Ireland in Malahide.
This exceptional performance not only showcased his batting prowess but also led to his inclusion in the Indian squad for the 2022 T20 World Cup.

Deepak Hooda's career has been nothing short of a rollercoaster ride, filled with notable highs and challenging lows.
With his explosive batting style, effective offbreaks, and agile fielding, Hooda continues to make a name for himself in both domestic cricket and the IPL.
As a versatile allrounder, he possesses the potential to become a crucial player for the Indian national team in various formats of the game.
With his immense talent and determination, cricket enthusiasts eagerly await the next chapter of Deepak Hooda's illustrious career.
