A series of riveting performances in the Ranji Trophy eventually led to his inclusion in India’s national squad in 2010.

One of Jaspal’s crowning achievements came during the 2011 ICC World Cup, where he was instrumental in several crucial victories for India. His sensational innings against Australia in the quarter-finals, where he hammered an unbeaten 85 off just 62 balls, remains etched in the annals of cricketing folklore.
