Suryakumar Ashok Yadav, widely known as Suryakumar Yadav, is an Indian cricketer who has made a significant impact on both domestic and international cricket.
Born on September 14, 1990, in Mumbai, Maharashtra, Yadav has emerged as a hard-hitting batsman with incredible versatility and a flair for making batting look effortless.

Yadav's natural talent for the game was evident from the very beginning of his cricketing journey.
He made his debut in the Ranji Trophy for Mumbai in 2010 and announced himself with a remarkable innings of 73 runs.
The following season, he emerged as a consistent run-scorer, amassing an impressive total of 754 runs from nine games, the highest by any player in his team.
This tally included a double-century against Orissa and a century in the next match.
Ending the season on a high note, Yadav showcased his skill with yet another hundred in the Duleep Trophy.

In 2014, Yadav joined the Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and played a vital role in the team's success as they clinched the title in his debut season.
Although his performance with the Knight Riders was not as extraordinary as expected, Yadav managed to score 608 runs from 54 games during his tenure with the franchise.

However, it was in 2018, when Yadav joined the Mumbai Indians, that he truly came into his own.
Playing for the Mumbai-based franchise in the IPL, he exhibited his full range of shots and exceptional game awareness.
Over the course of four seasons, Yadav played a pivotal role in the team's victory as they won the IPL title twice.
He scored over 1700 runs at a remarkable strike rate of around 140, establishing himself as an indispensable asset for the team.

Yadav's outstanding performance in the IPL caught the attention of the national selectors, and he finally received his much-deserved opportunity to represent India in international cricket.
His T20I debut came in 2021, and he made an immediate impact by smashing a six off the very first ball he faced from the renowned fast bowler, Jofra Archer.
Displaying his class and composure, Yadav recorded two half-centuries in his first three T20Is, showcasing his ability to adapt to the fast-paced nature of the game.

In the subsequent year, Yadav played a memorable innings of 117 off just 55 balls against England, despite India falling short in a high-scoring game.
This innings further highlighted his batting prowess and his ability to perform under pressure.
Yadav's contributions to the Indian cricket team have added depth and strength to their batting lineup, earning him the respect of both his teammates and opponents.

Off the field, Suryakumar Yadav is known for his humble and down-to-earth nature.
He continues to inspire young cricketers with his dedication, perseverance, and passion for the game.
As he continues to establish himself as a prominent figure in Indian cricket, cricket enthusiasts eagerly wait to witness more of his match-winning performances and contributions to the sport.
