In the bowling arena, RCB’s Josh Hazlewood has overtaken his peers in the Purple Cap standings. By taking 2-for-36 against Delhi Capitals, Hazlewood has accumulated 18 wickets from ten matches, placing him ahead of Prasidh Krishna from Gujarat Titans, who follows closely with 16 wickets in eight outings.
As it stands, Chennai Super Kings’ Noor Ahmad occupies third place with 14 wickets, while Trent Boult of Mumbai Indians, Krunal Pandya from RCB, and Harshal Patel from Sunrisers Hyderabad each have 13 wickets.
