Ticket sales for the 2025 Women’s ODI World Cup semi-finals open at 6 pm IST on 11 October, the ICC confirmed on Friday. Google Pay users get a two-day head-start, with the general sale following at 7 pm on 13 October.
In simple terms, fans can now book for the first semi-final, pencilled in for 29 September at Guwahati. One footnote, though: if Pakistan sneak through to the knock-outs, that match moves to Colombo’s R Premadasa Stadium. The governing body has promised that, in that event, “there will be a 100% refund” for anyone who had chosen Guwahati—welcome clarity in a sport where logistics often shift late.
Prices stay low. Entry for Guwahati costs ₹100, while seats at Navi Mumbai’s DY Patil Stadium for the second semi-final are ₹150. DY Patil has filled up nicely for women’s fixtures in recent years, and organisers expect another strong turnout.
Elsewhere, marquee India fixtures are disappearing fast. India v Australia in Visakhapatnam (12 October) and India v England in Indore (19 October) have already sold out. India v New Zealand (23 October) and India v Bangladesh (26 October) are close behind.
Early indicators suggest appetite for the women’s game continues to climb. The tournament opener drew 22,843 spectators at Guwahati’s ACA Stadium, eclipsing the previous ICC women’s league-stage record of 15,935 set in Dubai last year.
Affordable seats, a tidy pre-sale system, and a transparent contingency plan—small tweaks, perhaps, yet significant for supporters who simply want to watch good cricket without fuss.
