Prophecy Cricket has just announced they’re running a design competition for their 2026 bat range.
They’re asking YOU, cricket fans and creative types, to submit sticker designs, with the winner’s artwork appearing on next year’s bats.
Matthew, Prophecy’s Director told us “We’re incredibly excited to launch this sticker design competition and open the doors to our amazing community of players, fans, and creatives. At Prophecy Cricket, we believe the game is as much about identity and expression as it is about performance. This is a unique chance for someone to put their stamp on the game — literally — and we can’t wait to see the bold, fresh designs people come up with.”
The prize isn’t bad either. The winner gets a pro-grade bat, plus their design on the 2026 bats. They’ll also get credited on the website and social media channels.
What’s great about this competition is that you don’t need fancy design software or years of experience. They’re happy to look at sketches or rough ideas – if you win, their design team will help polish it up for printing. They’ve even made templates available, including one you can print off and colour in by hand, which is a nice touch.
The company says they’re after designs that capture modern cricket and fit their brand identity, something bold, clean and sharp that’ll work across different bat sizes.
Whether that means minimalist designs or something more eye-catching is up to the entrants.
The main thing is it can’t breach copyright and needs to look good both on the field and sitting in someone’s kit bag.
