If you could edit your past, what would you change?

Nothing – you learn from your mistakes and they shape your future

What is your idea of happiness?

Watching the sunset on a beach with a pina colada, good company and a chilled playlist

What’s your ideal sandwich?

Some grilled pesto chicken, spinach and avocado mix

Which living person do you most admire and why?

My dad. As an ex-pro footballer he knows what to say and when to say it. He’s taught me a lot about character and how to tell dreadful jokes. Great combination

What has been your biggest disappointment?

Missing out on the World T20 squad

What piece of advice would you give to your 16-year-old self?

Don’t worry about other people’s opinions, do what makes you happy and back your own decisions. And run more!

If you were an animal, what would you be?

A lioness so I could live in a hot country and sleep the majority of the day

What is the most beautiful thing you have ever seen?

My niece

What becomes of the broken hearted?

They have an ice-cream binge and then pick themselves up and move on

50mph average speed zones

What’s your ultimate pet hate?

People middle-lane hogging on the motorway – put your foot down or move over! That, and if a plug socket is switched on without anything plugged in. I lose sleep over that

What was the first record you bought?

Probably a Steps or Spice Girls single.

Who’s your ultimate fictional hero?

Batman – but only when Christian Bale played him. If not then probably the Genie from Aladdin
