The buildup to the 2025-26 seasons of the Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL) and the Big Bash League (BBL) is well underway. Both leagues are seeing a flurry of activity as teams finalise their squads. Clubs in both competitions are allowed to secure one overseas player prior to the draft on 20 June. The WBBL teams will consist of 15 players each, while BBL sides can have up to 18.
