Lucknow Super Giants

The Lucknow Super Giants, a relatively recent entrant into the Indian Premier League (IPL) circus, came into existence in 2022. The team emerged during the expansion phase of the IPL when the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) decided to add two new franchises to the league. Owned by the RPSG Group, the Super Giants have quickly made a mark, representing the vibrant city of Lucknow in the north of India.

In their debut season, the Lucknow Super Giants showed immense promise but couldn’t clinch the trophy. But hey, that's cricket for you.
